margu-NotebookInfo2 =================== Monitor for your Notebook to show info regarding CPU, WiFi and Battery. I needed a few info about my notebook shown on one single gadget but couldn't find it. So I collected parts of several gadgets other programers and modified the functions. Thanks to link8583, Asysoft and David Taraso for their great work. There are several information on as well as inside the gadget. On the gadget you see: - cpu clock speed (optional in GHz or MHz) - connection status of your WiFi or the SSID you are connected to - secure or not secure connection - signal strength as graph and percentage - battery level and status as icon and as percentage - battery icon and percentage change color on several levels - the battery status as 2-line text More information you get by click on different areas of the gadget: - cpu info by click on speed-scale - network info by click on SSID - battery info by click on percentage By click on the icons some Windows tools will start (Taskmanager, Connect, Mobility Center). Changelog and more information on settings page. How to use localization? ======================== 1. Identify each Windows locale the gadget must support. For example, en-US or fr-FR. 2. Create a subfolder for each supported Windows locale identifier. The subfolder name must match the identifier exactly. Alternatively you can copy one of the existing localize folders and rename it for your identifier. You'll find the gadget folder at C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\ Gadgets\margu-NotebookInfo2 If you can't see this folder, set the visibility of all hidden files and folders at "Folder Options" of your Explorer under "Tools" 3. After you created the new folder copy the 2 files "gadget.xml" and "localization.js" from one of the existing localize folders to your new folder. If you copied and renamed one of the existing folders, the needed files are already inside of the new one. 4. Now open the file "localization.js" with Notepad (or any other texteditor) and translate all text inside each quotation marks ("") to your needs. 5. Save the file and after you restarted the sidebar and all text on and inside the gadget should be in your language. I would be happy, if you send me your translated folder (as ZIP file) by mail at margu999@gmail.com So I will put it into the next release of the gadget and other users will have this language too.
